Welcome to the « castlefarm » of Blier, Erezée, a quiet place  in the middle oft he Ardennes at a bow-shot from Durbuy. The first question arising is :  what does „Affenage“ mean?  This classical french word is less in vogue yet. It is derived from the word « foin » : hay and means a storage of hay, a place where horses can eat and rest ,such as do the riders,  a relay,  as there are many in the county.

We transformed the « Affenage » to a convivial domain with snug rooms and a gastronomical restaurant,  being part of the « castlefarm » and castle.

A   pleasant stay in the Ardennes.

The commodious rooms of l’Affenage welcome you for a plaisant and comfortable stay .with respect for  history , they are carefully decorated in a modern style with respect for the traditionnal aspect  of the house. In such an exceptionnal accommodation, each room is unique and shows soft colours for conviviality and comfort to let you feel at home.

Philippe et Catherine Vanderlinden use nobel and local products.  They do their utmost to propose an inventif kitchen for a modern gastronomy based on  each seaon. Be seated for an agreable meal for two or in group.
